Before you can start any ‘Meet Now Meeting’ (On-Demand, Scheduled, Phone) features on the SK Virtual Visit App, you must first:

Download the SK Virtual Visit APP / Log Into Your Account / Get Started
Step 1 - Go to either the Apple App Store or Google Play store, search for SK Virtual Visit and Download/Install:
- Apple App Store for Apple mobile cell phone and tablet products
- Google Play Store for Android mobile cell phone and tablet products

Step 2: Once downloaded, click ‘Open’ from either the Store OR click the icon on your screen.

Step 3 - Initially, after downloading and first opening the app, you will see this green screen. Click the 'Log In or Sign Up' button. (This screen will only appear the first time you use the APP. Afterwards you will be taken directly to the Login screen after opening the app).
Step 4 - Enter your 'SK Virtual Visit' clinic user account login credentials (email address and password), then click 'Login'.
Step 5 - You will be directed to the 'Home' screen. Press 'Home' along the bottom of the screen at any time, to return to the 'Home' screen.
If you are connected with more than one virtual clinic, you must select the clinic you are currently working in. Click the drop-down arrow beside the clinic name at the top of the 'Home' screen, then choose your clinic.
On Apple devices, the selections appear at the bottom of the screen. After making a selection, tap ‘Return’.
On Android devices, they appear at the top of the screen. Simply tap the clinic name to select it.

Run the 'Pre-Call' Test
The Pre-Call Test is a brief 30-second check of your device’s camera, microphone and connectivity. ALWAyS 'Allow/Enable' your device's camera and microphone.
It is recommended you run this test each time you log into the ‘SK Virtual Visit’ APP (or more often if desired) to ensure everything is working properly on your device before you begin virtual sessions.
Step 1 – On the bottom of the ‘Home’ screen, click 'Menu’, then select ‘Pre-Call Test’.
Step 2 – Review the ‘Test Audio/Video Quality’ screen, then click ‘Start Test’.
Step 3 - The first time you use the 'SK Virtual Visit' APP and 'Test Audio and Video', you will be prompted for permissions to your camera and microphone. If you have done this previously and you see 'Allowed' for both camera and microphone, skip this step.
Click ‘Not Allowed’ for each. Click 'OK' (Apple devices) or 'Allow' (Android devices). Note: this can also be done under your 'Device Settings'.

Both Camera and Microphone should say 'Allowed'.
Once they do, click 'Next' (Apple device) or 'Done’ (Android device).
Step 4 – The test will proceed. Ensure your device is on a stable surface and speak, so your camera and microphone are tested properly.
If the Pre-Call test fails or the results are bad:
- Make sure other applications on your device are not using your microphone/ camera or are closed.
- Double-check your internet connection.
- Make sure your microphone and camera are Enabled/Allowed under your ‘Device Settings’ for the ‘SK Virtual Visit’ APP.
Step 5 – After receiving a successful test, Go Back to the 'Menu’ screen by clicking the (on Apple devices) or (on Android devices) in the upper-left corner of the screen.
Step 6 - Press ‘Home’ along the bottom of the screen, to return to the ‘Home’ screen.
Join a Meeting You Have Been Invited to as a Guest/Participant
(Note: The meeting host and care team members from the host's virtual clinic who have also been scheduled to attend, access a scheduled meeting from the 'Consultations' tab after logging into their SK Virtual Visit account)
How to Start a Video Meeting using a Mobile Device - Instructional Video
Step 1 - On the 'Home' screen, click 'Join Meeting' and you will be directed to the ‘Join a Meeting’ screen.
Step 2 – Manually type in the Meeting ID and Passcode you received.
Step 3 - Enable your 'microphone and camera' and check 'Remember my preferences for future meetings'. These permissions grant camera and microphone access within the video itself.
Important: you may receive additional prompts for the APP/web browser to access your microphone and camera. Always Enable/Allow these whenever prompted.
Step 4 - If you did not run the 'Pre-Call Test', it is recommended that you test your audio and video equipment here, prior to joining the meeting.
Click ‘Test Audio and Video’ near the bottom of the 'Join a Meeting' screen, then continue with the instructions above under, 'Run the Pre-Call Test' - Step 3.
Step 5 – After receiving a successful test, Go Back to the 'Join a Meeting’ screen by clicking the (on Apple iOS) or (on Android) in the upper-left corner of the screen.
Step 6 - When ready to join your video meeting, click ‘Join Meeting’ on the ‘Join a Meeting’ screen.
Step 7 – If you are a care team member who is part of the host’s virtual clinic, you will automatically enter the video meeting.
If you are an invited patient or participant from outside of the host’s virtual clinic, you will have to wait for the meeting host to 'Admit' you into the meeting. Once admitted, you will enter the video meeting.
If declined, you will receive the following message. If this is a mistake, go back to your email, click the ‘https quick link’ again and attempt to re-join the meeting. If you are still unable to get into the meeting, contact the meeting host’s clinic for assistance.
Step 8 – Along the bottom of the video screen, you will see the following features:
- X Leave Call (leave video – see below)
- Mute/Unmute (own audio)
- Camera (turn own video off/on)
- Flip Camera (flip camera front/back)
Step 9 - At the top-right of the video screen, there are 3 dots. Click the '3 dots' to see additional features. The features available to you will depend on whether you are the meeting host, a member of their virtual clinic or are a participant from outside of their virtual clinic:
- View Participants (a list of participants in the video chat - feature is seen by ALL)
- Mute All Participants (available to video host and other members of the host's virtual clinic)
- Dial In (dial participants in by phone to video chat - available to host and other members of the host's virtual clinic)
- View Text Chat (feature is seen by ALL)
- Get Join-In Information (meeting link info - available to video host and other members of the host's virtual clinic)
Host & Participants from Host’s Virtual Clinic: Participants from Outside Host’s Virtual Clinic:
Step 10 - To leave the video meeting, tap the 'X Leave Call' button.
If you are the host or a care team member who is part of the host's virtual clinic, you have two options to choose from:
- 'Leave Call' - Allows participants to leave the video and re-enter it (as long as the video is still active and they are allowed re-entry - available to everyone)
- 'End Call for All' - Ends the video meeting for everyone (available to host and members of the host's virtual clinic)
If you are an invited participant from outside of the host's virtual clinic, you will only be able to 'Leave Call'.
Click 'Yes' to confirm.
Step 11 - The host will see the 'Video Meeting Summary' screen and may type in a brief meeting note, if desired. When complete, press 'Done'.
Start an 'On-Demand' Video Meeting
Step 11 - The host will see the 'Video Meeting Summary' screen and may type in a brief meeting note, if necessary. When complete, press 'Done'.
Step 1 - On the 'Home' screen, click 'Start Video Meeting'.
Step 2 - Review the information and,
- Check to enable your microphone and camera and whether to remember these preferences for future meetings (optional). These permissions grant access within the video itself.
- When ready, click 'Start Video Meeting'
- Important: you may receive additional prompts for the APP/web browser to access your microphone and camera. Always Enable/Allow these whenever prompted.
Step 3 - The 'Meeting Join-In Information' screen will appear.
- 'Send Invitation by Email' uses your computer's default email platform to send the 'Join-in Information'. The appointment/meeting info will automatically generate into the body of the email along with this message, "To ensure your call goes smoothly, please test your Audio & Video by clicking on the Test Audio and Video button. You can access this button by clicking the meeting invite link. If the results show that one or both are not working correctly, call 1-844-767-8259, then press option '4' and you will be connected with someone from SK Virtual Visit support that will be able to assist you. This phone number is available from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST from Monday to Friday."
- 'Copy Invitation' allows you to choose any email platform. The appointment/ meeting info, which includes the web URL link, Meeting ID and Passcode, will have to be 'pasted' into the body of the email before being sent.
- 'Copy Invite Link' allows you to choose any email platform. The appointment/ meeting info includes the web URL link only and will have to be 'pasted' into the body of the email before being sent.
Note:
- You will require participant's correct email information.
- The invitation may be sent by text, however Meeting ID and Passcode will have to be entered manually.
'Cancel' removes the 'Meeting Join-In Information' screen and takes you into the video.
Note: You can always access the 'Join-In Information' at any time during the meeting, by clicking the '3 dots' on the top-right of the screen and selecting 'Get Join-In Information'.
Step 4 - Invited participants who are care team members of your virtual clinic, will automatically enter the video meeting.
Invited participants from outside of your virtual clinic, will have to be 'Admitted' by you (the meeting host). Once admitted they will enter the video meeting.
Anyone you decline will receive the following message. In the event you declined them by mistake, they will be able to go back to their email, click the 'https quick link' and attempt to re-join the meeting, where you will again be prompted to 'Admit or Decline' them.
Step 5 - Along the bottom of the video screen, you will see the following features:
- X Leave Call - (explained below)
- Mute/Unmute Microphone
- Turn Camera On/Off
- Flip Camera Front/Back facing
Step 6 – At the top-right of the video screen, there are 3 dots. Click the ‘3 dots’, to see additional features.
- View Participants (a list of participants in the video chat – feature is seen by ALL)
- Mute All Participants (available to video host and other members of the host’s virtual clinic)
- Dial In (dial participants in by phone to video chat – available to host and other members of the host’s virtual clinic)

Participants from Host’s Virtual Clinic: Participants from Outside Host’s Virtual Clinic:
Step 7 – To leave the video meeting, tap the ‘X Leave Call’ button. You have two options to choose from:
- 'Leave Call' - Allows participants to leave the video and re-enter it (as long as the video is still active and they are allowed re-entry).
- 'End Call For All' - ends the video meeting for everyone (available to host and members of the host’s virtual clinic).
Start a 'Scheduled' Video Meeting
Step 1 - On the bottom of the ‘Home’ screen, click 'Consultations'.
Step 2 - You will be directed to the ‘Active and Pending’ screen:
Step 3 - You have the options to see scheduled meetings for 'Past & Today', 'Today', or ‘Past' by clicking the drop-down arrow near the top of the screen.
On Apple devices, the selections appear at the bottom of the screen. After making a selection, tap ‘Return’.
On Android devices, they appear at the top of the screen. Simply tap on one to select it.

Step 4 - Locate your meeting.
Within the meeting frame, there are 3 dots.
When you tap the ‘3 dots’, you will see options, such as:
- Get Join-In Information (info to send to guests being invited to attend)
- View Participants (those who are invited to this meeting)
- Cancel/Decline Meeting (‘Cancel’ if you are the host or admin/’Decline’ if you are an invited participant or their admin)
Step 5 - When ready to enter and start, find and tap onto your meeting on the ‘Active & Pending’ screen to enter it.
Step 6 - Review the screen, then click 'Start Meeting' when ready to begin. Ensure you ‘Enable/Allow’ your microphone and camera, whenever prompted to do so.
Step 7 - Continue with 'Step 4' under 'Start an On-Demand Video Meeting' above.
Start a Phone Meeting

How to Start a Phone Meeting using a Mobile Device - Instructional Video
Step 1 - On the 'Home' screen, click 'Start a Phone Meeting'.
Step 2 - Review the information on the screen.
Step 3 - Enter the patient or participant's phone number and your phone number (your number always remains hidden from the person you are calling).
Step 4 - Click 'Start Phone Meeting'.
Step 5 - The system will call you first. Answer and wait on the line for your participant to connect.
View Past Meetings
- Search for Past Video and Phone Meetings You Have Participated In -
Step 1 - On the 'Home' screen, click 'View Past Meetings'.
Your most recent video and phone meetings will display on the screen OR you may Search using the ‘Search’ field at the top of the screen.
Once located, click onto the meeting you wish to review. A brief ‘Note’ may be added, if needed.
The ‘Menu’ Tab Features
Step 1 – On the bottom of the ‘Home’ screen, click 'Menu’.

Information you entered when creating your account. You may change your Profile Picture, Display Name, or Password only. All other changes must be made by contacting your HSP.
