Programs running in the background that use your camera/microphone can block access to SK Virtual Visit or can affect the performance of your camera/microphone during a virtual session. If you have programs running in the background (Webex, YouTube, etc.) they should be disabled or closed.
Below are instructions for disabling Webex and Microsoft Teams:
| Hold Ctrl+Shift+Esc to go into your 'Task Manager' Click 'Startup Apps (along the left) Find 'Webex' or 'Microsoft Teams' If either are Enabled, right-click on the word 'Enabled' Select 'Disable' Close the window Make sure 'Webex' or 'Teams' are not currently open on your laptop/computer. If so, close it. |
| Top-right, open 'Search' (hourglass) Type 'Webex Meetings' Open Top-left, click 'Cisco Webex Meetings' Choose 'Preferences' Choose 'General' Uncheck 'Start Cisco Webex Meetings when my computer starts" Top-left, click 'Cisco Webex Meetings' again Click 'Quit' |
