SK Virtual Visit requires a secure internet connection and a weak connection can result in issues accessing parts of the platform or being able to see or hear people.
Test your Internet Speed here:
Compare your results to your Internet Plan. (You may need to talk to your internet service provider or your local IT).
- Test in the location where you normally work
- Use a wired connection, not Wi-Fi
- Pause or close other programs that are running and using internet
Bandwidth Requirements:
You will see results in milliseconds (ms) and megabit per second (Mbps).
- 4 Mbps Upload minimum (for video and screen sharing)
- Between 2-6 Mbps Download minimum
- Other factors that come into play are packet loss and latency.
The best practice for a good video call is to run the SK Virtual Visit 'Pre-Call Test' to ensure you have a fast enough connection and also meet the other required parameters.
