Note: The screenshots displayed below might exhibit slight variations compared to what you observe on your mobile device, because of differences in device design and screen resolution. Nevertheless, the functionality remains consistent across all devices, ensuring the same user experience, regardless of your chosen device.
Download the SK Virtual Visit APP / Log Into Your Account / Get Started
Step 1 - Go to either the Apple App Store or Google Play store, search for 'SK Virtual Visit' and Download/Install:
- Apple App Store for Apple mobile cell phone and tablet products
- Google Play Store for Android mobile cell phone and tablet products

Step 2: Once downloaded, click ‘Open’ from either the Store OR click the icon on your screen.

Step 3 - Initially, after downloading and first opening the app, you will see this green screen. Click the 'Log In or Sign Up' button. (This screen will only appear the first time you use the APP. Afterwards you will be taken directly to the Login screen after opening the app).
Step 4 - Enter your 'SK Virtual Visit' clinic user account login credentials (email address and password), then click 'Login'.
Step 5 - You will be asked if you would like to enroll in biometrics. Select 'Yes' or 'No'. See article - Adding Biometrics to the Login Process on a Mobile Device
Step 6 - You will be directed to the 'Home' screen. Press 'Home' along the bottom of the screen at any time, to return to the 'Home' screen.
Step 7 - If you are connected with more than one virtual clinic, you must select the clinic you are currently working in.
Click the drop-down arrow beside the clinic name at the top of the 'Home' screen, then choose your clinic.

Run the 'Pre-Call' Test
The Pre-Call Test is a brief 1-minute check of your device’s camera, microphone and connectivity. Note: ALWAYS 'Allow/Enable' your device's camera and microphone.
It is recommended you run this test each time you log into the ‘SK Virtual Visit’ APP (or more often if desired) to ensure everything is working properly on your device before you begin virtual sessions.
Step 1 – Click 'Menu’ along the bottom of the screen, then select ‘Pre-Call Test’.
Step 2 – Review the ‘Test Audio/Video Quality’ screen, then click ‘Start Test’.
Step 3 - The first time you use the 'SK Virtual Visit' app and run the 'Pre-Call Test', you will be prompted for permissions to your camera and microphone.
Note: If you have done this previously and you see 'Allowed' for both camera and microphone, skip to 'Step 4'.
- Click ‘Not Allowed’ for each, then 'OK' (Apple devices) or 'Allow' (Android devices).
Note: this can also be done under your 'Device Settings'.
Step 3 - Both Camera and Microphone should say 'Allowed'. Once they do, click 'Next' or 'Done’.
Step 4 – If prompted again, 'Start Test', otherwise the test will proceed. Ensure your device is on a stable surface and speak, so your camera and microphone are tested properly.

Step 5 – After receiving a successful test, Go Back to the 'Menu’ screen by clicking the (on Apple devices) or
(on Android devices) in the upper-left corner of the screen.
Step 6 - Press ‘Home’ along the bottom of the screen, to return to the ‘Home’ screen.
Start a Scheduled 'Patient Consultation'
Step 1 - On the bottom of the ‘Home’ screen, click 'Consults'. You will be directed to the ‘Active and Pending’ screen:
Step 2 - You have the options to see scheduled consults for 'Past & Today', 'Today', or ‘Past' by clicking the drop-down arrow near the top of the screen.

Step 3 - Within each scheduled consult frame, there are 3 dots.

Depending on the appointment status, when you tap the '3 dots', you will see options, such as:
- 'Get Join-In Information' (info to send to guests being invited to attend)
- 'View Participants' (this feature only appears if additional care team members from the host’s virtual clinic are invited to attend)
- 'Set As…' (Pending Imaging, Pending Labs, Pending Other, Referred to Specialist)
- 'Cancel/Decline Consultation' (‘Cancel’ if you are the host or admin/’Decline’ if you are an invited participant or their admin)
- 'Archive Consultation' - when consultation is complete
Step 4 - Get Join-In Information - Choose one of the three options available to send additional participant(s) the consultation information:
- 'Copy' - The copied information includes the web URL link ('https...') only, which you must 'paste' into the body of any email platform you choose to use.
- 'View Meeting Invitation' - opens a screen that displays all the Meeting Invitation info, including the web URL link, Meeting ID and Passcode, date and time (if a scheduled meeting), and instructions, which you must 'Copy' & paste into the body of any email platform you choose to use.
- 'Invite via Email' - opens your device's default email platform to send all 'Meeting Information'. All meeting invitation information will automatically generate into the body of the email.
Note: You will require your participant's correct email information.
Step 5 - Tap onto the consultation, when you are ready to enter.
Note: When you initially enter the consultation, the patient will not realize you are there, nor can you message the patient until you do ‘Step 6’. This gives you a chance to review the appointment info ahead of time, as well as leave the consultation and return when ready to meet with the patient.
Step 6 - When ready to consult with your patient, click 'Enter Consultation' at the bottom of this screen.
Step 7 - You will have access to features that are similar to those seen in the web version of ‘SK Virtual Visit’.

Step 8 - After you confirm that the patient is in a private and quiet setting and you have their permission to proceed with video, click the ‘3 dots’, then select the ‘Start Video’ button.

Step 9 – 'Start Video Chat' screen - note the following features:
- Camera/microphone permissions - Toggle to enable your microphone and camera for this video session.
- Video Chats Per Consultation - you can start as many video sessions during the active consultation as necessary, adding and preventing participants as desired.
- 'Prevent Other Consultation Participants From Joining' - you may prevent/allow certain participants from joining the video by checking/unchecking this box and checking/unchecking their name. Checking this box will also prevent anyone who was sent the video URL information from joining the video. See the examples below, where a Clinic Admin has been invited into this consultation.

When ready, click 'Start Video Chat'. You will be taken directly into the video.
Step 10 - If prompted for the APP/web browser to access your microphone and camera, always 'Enable/Allow'.
Step 11 – Wait for your participant(s) to arrive.
- Invited participants who part of your virtual clinic, will automatically enter the video meeting.
- You must either 'Admit' or 'Decline' your patient or anyone invited who is not part of your virtual clinic.
Video Features (bottom of screen) - Tap to use each feature:
- X Leave Call (leave video – see below)
- Mute/Unmute (own audio)
- Camera (turn own video off/on)
- Flip Camera (flip camera front/back)
Video Features (3 dots on top-right of the video screen) - Click the '3 dots' to see the available features:
Note: The features available to you will depend on whether you are the meeting host, a member of their virtual clinic or are an invited guest/participant.
- 'View Participants' - available to ALL participants- a list of everyone in the video
- 'Mute All Participants' - available to video host and members of their virtual clinic
- 'Dial In' - available to video host and members of their virtual clinic -dial participants in by phone audio (no video)
- 'View Text Chat' - available to ALL participants
- 'Get Join-In Information' = the 'Meeting Information' to email to invited participants
Step 9 - 'Leave vs End' the video call - there are two options to choose from:
- 'Leave Call'- available to all participants - Allows participants to leave the video and re-enter it, as long as the video is still active and they are allowed re-entry.
- 'End Call for All' - available to host and members of the host's virtual clinic - Ends the video meeting for everyone.

The ‘Menu’ Tab Features
Step 1 – On the bottom of the ‘Home’ screen, click 'Menu’.
The following features are available:
