Invite Additional Participants While Entering a Video Meeting
Step 1 - Click the 'Meet Now' tab from either:
- The left navigation bar, 'Meet Now'
- The left navigation bar, 'Clinic', then 'Meet Now'
Step 2 Click 'Start Video Meeting'.
Step 3 - Review the information, then
- check to enable your microphone for the video call (uncheck this box if you are currently on the phone with your patient/participant)
- check to enable your camera for the video call
- check to select to remember these preferences for future meetings (optional)
- click 'Next'
You will be taken directly into the video meeting.
Step 3 -You will be prompted to 'Allow' your camera and microphone on your browser for this website. Click 'Allow' for each. If you 'Block' either, you will not have audio or video in your video call.
Step 4 - The 'Meeting Join-In Information' screen will appear.
- 'Send Invitation by Email' uses your computer's default email platform to send the 'Join-in Information'. The appointment/meeting info will automatically generate into the body of the email along with this message, "To ensure your call goes smoothly, please test your Audio & Video by clicking on the Test Audio and Video button. You can access this button by clicking the meeting invite link. If the results show that one or both are not working correctly, call 1-844-767-8259, then press option '4' and you will be connected with someone from SK Virtual Visit support that will be able to assist you. This phone number is available from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST from Monday to Friday."
- 'Copy Invitation' allows you to choose any email platform. The appointment/ meeting info, which includes the web URL link, Meeting ID and Passcode, will have to be 'pasted' into the body of the email before being sent.
- 'Copy Invite Link' allows you to choose any email platform. The appointment/ meeting info includes the web URL link only and will have to be 'pasted' into the body of the email before being sent.
Note:
- You will require participant's correct email information.
- The invitation may be sent by text, however Meeting ID and Passcode will have to be entered manually.
Step 5 - Once the invitation has been sent to participant(s), wait for them to arrive. As they do, either 'Admit' or 'Decline' them.
Anyone you decline will receive the following message.
Invite Additional Participants While in a Video Meeting
- By video, click 'Get Join-In Information' at the upper-right of the video screen. Send participants the meeting Join-in Information.
- By phone, click 'Dial In', enter their name and phone number, then click 'Dial In Now'.
