Note: Youth 14 years of age or older are entitled to advocate for their own healthcare and must provide consent for a parent/guardian to intervene on their behalf.
There are 2 options available for dependents:
Option 1: Become a patient of the healthcare provider's virtual clinic and create their own 'SK Virtual Visit' patient user account using their unique email address. If they do not have their own email address, use Option 2.
Option 2: The healthcare provider or their clinic staff can provide the dependent and parent/guardian a join-in link or meeting ID/Passcode, which does not require a 'SK Virtual Visit' patient user account.

There are two ways to join. Both require the Meeting ID and Passcode:
1: From the quick link provided in an invitation email (meeting ID and passcode automatically generated)
2: From the 'SK Virtual Visit' app or web 'Login' screen https://virtualvisit.saskatchewan.ca/
1: From the Quick Link Within the Invitation Email
Step 1 - Open your invitation email.
Step 2 - Click the meeting quick link within the email.
i.e.: https://saskvirtualhealth.ca/app/xxxxx?pwd=XxXxX
Step 3 - You will be directed to a page titled, 'Join a Meeting'. The Meeting ID and Passcode should already be generated onto this page. Enter your name to identify yourself. Enable your camera and microphone. Click 'Join'.
Step 4 - You will be prompted to wait for the host to let you into the video chat. Wait here.
As a security measure, the healthcare provider must allow you entry into the video chat. If allowed entry, you will be directed into the video. If declined entry, you will be prompted and unable to enter the video.
# 2: From the 'Log-In' Screen
Step 1 - From the SK Virtual Visit Login screen,
Step 2 - Click 'Join Meeting Now'.
Step 3 - Enter the 'Meeting ID' and 'Passcode' given in the email. Enter your name to identify yourself. Enable your camera and microphone. Click 'Join'.
Step 4 - You will be prompted to wait for the host to let you in. Wait here.
