Data security and the protection of patient and clinic information is of great importance to us, therefore we endeavor to do our best to protect personal data.
As an additional layer of security when logging into the 'SK Virtual Visit' system, we have put in place 2-Factor Authentication for clinical users and healthcare providers. So, even if your password gets compromised, the hacker has to crack another security layer before they can access your account.
It's important to remember... although 2FA supplements your password, it should not be viewed as a replacement to a strong password.
***Your private information is never shared and is only used for this safety feature***
- 2FA is a mandatory step for clinic and healthcare providers and cannot be disabled.
- Each clinic member must have their own account to use the 'SK Virtual Visit' system.
- When logging in, after adding your individual user ID and a strong password, you will be asked to enter a code that is sent to you by text message to your unique cell phone number. Once this code is entered, you will gain access to your account.
- You will be prompted every 15 days to enter your 2FA, when your IP address changes (you use a different laptop/computer at a different location or outpost), or if you change your password.
