Medical problems that should be treated with in-person care should not use virtual care. These include, but are not limited to:
- chest pain
- shortness of breath
- loss of vision
- loss of hearing
- sudden weakness or numbness
- ear pain
- cough
- abdominal or digestive problems
- muscle and joint injuries
These medical conditions are not suitable for virtual care; however, follow-ups for these conditions may be suited for virtual care, if permitted by your healthcare provider.
