Can My Child or Dependent Use SK Virtual Visit for Virtual Appointments?
Updated
Note: Youth 14 years of age or older are entitled to advocate for their own healthcare and must provide consent for a parent/guardian to intervene on their behalf.
There are 2 options available for dependents:
Option 1: The clinic invites the dependent to become a virtual patient and to create their own SK Virtual Visit patient account using their own unique email address. If they do not have their own email address, the clinic may use 'Option 2'.
Option 2: The healthcare provider or their clinic staff can provide the dependent and parent/guardian a meeting link, meeting ID & passcode that is used to access the virtual appointment. This option does not require a SK Virtual Visit patient account.
