As a patient, family member or caregiver, a healthcare provider may send you an invitation to join a video meeting with them.
- You may join these video meetings whether you have a SK Virtual Visit account or not, as long as the meeting host allows you in.
- You may join on a mobile device or a laptop/desktop.
- To cancel your scheduled video meeting, contact the clinic directly.
The invitation is sent to you by email and includes:
- meeting title
- date
- time
- meeting link (https://...)
- meeting ID
- meeting passcode

Option 1 - Using the Meeting Link Provided in the Email
Step 1: Using the same device you are using to attend your video meeting, open the email and click the 'https://...' meeting link provided to you.

Step 2 - If using a mobile device and this screen appears, you have the option to Download the SK Virtual Visit app or Continue to Meeting (uses the web). If you do not see this screen, you may still download the SK Virtual Visit app in your device’s app store, if you wish to.
Step 3 - Whenever prompted, click Allow for both your camera and microphone for this website.

Step 4 - The Join Meeting screen - you are not yet in the video meeting:
- If on the web on any device, you should see yourself in video and see the microphone volume bar moving.
- It is recommended you leave your microphone and camera turned ON, then may turn them OFF once in the video, if required.
- You may test your connection, audio and video equipment and connectivity by clicking Test Your Connection (on web) / Test Audio and Video (on app). The test takes approximately one minute then will provide results.
- The Meeting ID and Passcode will have automatically generated from the information in your email or SMS text message.
- Add your name to identify yourself - REQUIRED.
- If you want your camera/microphone settings and name saved for next time, check Remember my preferences.

Step 5 - When ready to join the video meeting, click Join/Join Meeting.
Step 6 - You will be prompted to stay on this page until the meeting host lets you in – the message alternates every 30 seconds:
- Waiting for the host to start the meeting – Please stay on this page
- You’re in the right place – We appreciate your patience. You’ll be let in shortly.
- Thanks for waiting – The meeting hasn’t started, but you’re all set.

If denied admission by the meeting host, you will see this prompt. If this is a mistake, make another attempt to join the meeting. If you are still unable to be admitted, contact the meeting host's clinic to have another invitation sent to you.
If you drop from the meeting by mistake or due to poor internet, you may re-enter it by again clicking the ‘https://…’ quick link in your email, as long as the meeting is still active.
Option 2 - From the 'SK Virtual Visit' Login Screen
Step 1 - Go to the Login screen:

Step 2 - If you have downloaded the SK Virtual Visit APP, the first time you access it, you may see this green screen. Click the Log In or Sign Up button.
Step 3 - Do not enter an email address or password, create an account or log in.
At the bottom of the screen, click Join Meeting Now/Join Meeting.
