With virtual appointments, patients are not always a captive audience and can get distracted. A healthcare provider or his care team can send 'Quick Messages' to scheduled patients from the 'Active and Pending' room before entering a consultation. These are available for scheduled 'Patient Consultations' only (not 'Meet Now video meetings').
Some examples for using quick messages include:
- The clinician/nurse is behind schedule
- The clinician/nurse is ahead of schedule
- The clinician/nurse has been called away and the patient's appointment needs to be rescheduled
