These settings are ONLY available for clinics that have the 'Patient Self-Serve Scheduling' feature enabled.
As patient self-booking is not enabled in your clinic, those settings are not available and the following message will appear:
If enabled, there are three settings available. :
1. Lead Time - the minimum amount of time before a patient can book an appointment
2. Patient Provider Selection - a healthcare provider can permit their patients to consult with another healthcare provider from the same clinic
3. New Patients - allows a healthcare provider to set how many new patients they want to accept via this platform. This has a metered-intake approach. Once that number is reached, patients will no longer be able to register as new patients with your clinic.
- Healthcare providers can manage their own settings or support staff can do so on their behalf.
- There must be a schedule entered for the healthcare provider under the 'Schedule' tab, indicating when they are available to see patients.
