There are two Practitioner Settings available and ONLY available for clinics that have 'Patient Self-Booking' enabled.
If patient self-booking is not enabled in your clinic, the following message will appear:
- Settings are tailored to each healthcare provider.
- A healthcare provider or the clinic staff can manage these settings.
1. Lead Time - the minimum amount of time before a patient can book an appointment.
2. Health Provider Selection - allows a healthcare provider to allow their patients to consult with other healthcare providers in their clinic.
Note: Office Administrators must select provider under the 'Select Provider' drop-down menu. Providers will not see this.
1. LEAD TIME
The minimum amount of time before a patient can book an appointment. Options include:
- Immediately
- 5 minutes before
- 15 minutes before
- 30 minutes before
- 1 hour before
- 2 hours before
- 12 hours before
Step 1 - From the left navigation bar, select 'Account', then click 'Practitioner Settings'.
Step 2 - If you are the clinic staff and are working with more than one healthcare provider, click the drop-down to select the provider whose settings you are managing.
Step 2 - Under 'Appointment Booking', click the drop-down and select the Lead Time preferred.
Step 3 - IMPORTANT - Scroll down and click 'Save' to save the setting.
2. HEALTH PROVIDER SELECTION
This feature allows a healthcare provider to allow their patients to consult with other healthcare providers in their clinic.
Step 1 - Follow 'Step 1' above.
Step 2 - Under 'Patient Health Provider Selection', click to 'Allow patients to select another health provider at my clinic', then click into the check box(es) to select the healthcare providers that your patients may choose to see, besides yourself.
Step 3 - IMPORTANT - Scroll down and click 'Save' to save the setting.
