Scheduled 'Meet Now Meetings': As patients do not require a SK Virtual Visit account to attend these virtual appointments (but simply access them by clicking the quick link in an email) and these types of appointments are not visible when they are logged into their account (if they do have one), patients should call their healthcare provider's clinic directly to cancel/reschedule their 'Meet Now Meeting' appointments.
Scheduled 'Patient Consultations': Patients may call their healthcare provider's clinic directly, OR log into their 'SK Virtual Visit' account and make a request online.
Clinic users will find these requests to cancel under:
- 'Consultations' tab in the dashboard, then under either the 'Active and Pending' screen or the 'Requests to Cancel' screen.
- 'Schedule' tab in the dashboard.
Option 1 - Under the 'Consultations' tab
Step 1 - From either the 'Active and Pending' or 'Requests to Cancel' tabs on the dashboard, locate the appointment the patient has requested to cancel and click 'X Cancel Consultation'.
Step 2 - Select one of the three available choices:
- Close - do not cancel.
- Yes, Cancel Consultation - choosing this option will promptly cancel the appointment. A green notification will pop up, indicating that the appointment has been successfully cancelled.
- Yes, Cancel and Schedule Appointment - by clicking this option, the appointment will be cancelled immediately, and you will be redirected to the 'Schedule Appointment' screen, where you may reschedule the appointment.
Option 2 - Under the 'Schedule' Tab
Step 1 - From the 'Schedule' tab on the dashboard, locate the appointment the patient has requested to cancel, tap into it and click the 'X' icon.
Step 2 - Click 'Cancel Consultation' to confirm. A green notification will pop up, indicating that the appointment has been successfully cancelled.
