A healthcare provider may send you an invitation to join a video meeting with them.
- You may join these video meetings whether you have a 'SK Virtual Visit' account or not, as long as the meeting host allows you in.
- You may join on a mobile device or a laptop/desktop.
The invitation is sent to you by email and includes:
- meeting title
- date
- time
- quick link (https://...)
- meeting ID
- meeting passcode
There are three ways to join:
Option 1: Using the quick link provided in the invitation email (no 'SK Virtual Visit' account required)
Option 2: From the 'SK Virtual Visit' Log-In screen (no need to login) https://virtualvisit.saskatchewan.ca/app/?screen=login
Option 3: From the 'SK Virtual Visit' Home screen (after logging into your account)
Option 1 - Using the Quick Link Provided in the Email
Step 1: Using the same device you are using to attend your video meeting, open the email and click the 'https://...' quick link provided in the email.

If the quick link does not work, highlight the hyperlink information by hovering your mouse cursor over the link and clicking the left mouse button once (the entire line should be highlighted), then:
- Copy it to your clipboard: Press Ctrl+C (Windows) or Command+C (Mac) or right-click on your mouse and choose 'Copy'.
- Open your web browser. Click into the address line, press Ctrl+V (Windows) or Command+V (Mac) or right-click on your mouse and choose 'Paste'.
Step 2 - When using your mobile device, you may be prompted with the following green screen. If you do not see this screen, skip to 'Step 3' below. If you see this screen, choose either:
- 'Continue on Web', OR
- Tap either 'Apple App Store' or 'Google Play Store' and download the 'SK Virtual Visit' app.
Step 3 - Whenever you are prompted, click 'Allow' for both your camera and microphone for this website. Note: your prompt may differ slightly from this example, depending on the browser and device you are using.
Step 4 - The 'Join a Meeting' screen:
- If on the web on any device, you should see yourself in video and see the microphone volume bar moving. Note: you are not yet in the video meeting.
- You may test your audio and video equipment by clicking ‘Test Your Connection/ Test Audio and Video’. The test takes approximately 30 seconds then will provide results.
- The Meeting ID and Passcode will have automatically generated from the information in your email or SMS text message.
- Add your name to identify yourself - REQUIRED.
- It is recommended you leave your microphone and camera ‘ON’ (then may turn the camera OFF and/or mute yourself once in the video, if desired).
- If you want your camera/microphone settings and name saved for next time, you check ‘Remember my preferences’.

Step 5 - When ready to join the video meeting, click 'Join/Join Meeting'.
Step 6 - Wait to be admitted into the meeting.
As a security measure, you must be allowed access. Once admitted, you will be taken into the video meeting.
If declined, you will receive the following message. If this is a mistake, contact the meeting host to have another invitation sent to you.
If you drop from the meeting or 'Leave Call', you may re-enter the meeting, as long as it is still active and has not been 'Ended' by the meeting host.

Option 2 - From the 'SK Virtual Visit' Log-In Screen
Step 1 - If using a mobile device, you may download and open the “SK Virtual Visit” APP or, stay on the web on any device and go to the login screen at https://virtualvisit.saskatchewan.ca/

Step 2: Once downloaded, click ‘Open’ from either the Store OR click the icon on your screen.

Step 3 - Initially, after downloading and first opening the app, you may see this green screen. Click the 'Log In or Sign Up' button. (This screen will only appear the first time you use the APP. Afterwards you will be taken directly to the Login screen after opening the app).
Step 4 - Do not enter an email address or password and do not log in. At the bottom of the screen, click 'Join Meeting/Join Meeting Now'.
Using the App: On the Web:

Option 3 - From the Home Screen if Logged Into Your 'SK Virtual Visit' Account
Step 1 - If using a mobile device, you may download and open the “SK Virtual Visit” APP or, stay on the web on any device and go to the login screen at https://virtualvisit.saskatchewan.ca/

Step 2 - Login using your login credentials - email address and password.
Step 3 - On the 'Home' screen, click 'Join Meeting/Invited to a Meeting?'

- As you are logged in, it is not necessary to add your name to identify yourself, as the system picks this up from your account information.
- It is recommended you leave your microphone and camera ‘ON’ (then may turn the camera OFF and/or mute yourself once in the video, if desired).
- If you want your camera/microphone settings and name saved for next time, you check ‘Remember my preferences’.

Step 5 - When ready to join the video meeting, click 'Join/Join Meeting'.
Step 6 - Wait for the meeting host to 'Admit' you into the meeting.
As a security measure, you must be granted access. Once admitted, you will be taken into the video meeting.
If declined, you will receive the following message. If this is a mistake, try entering the meeting a second time. If you are still unable to get in, contact the meeting host to have another invitation sent to you.
