These settings are ONLY available for clinics that have the 'Patient Self Scheduling' feature enabled.
As this feature is not enabled or available in your clinic, the following message will appear:
If enabled, there are three settings available:
1. Lead Time - the minimum amount of time before a patient can book an appointment
2. Patient Provider Selection - a healthcare provider can permit their patients to consult with another clinician from the same clinic
3. New Patients - allows a healthcare provider to set how many new patients they want to accept via this platform. This has a metered-intake approach. Once that number is reached, patients will no longer be able to register as new patients with your clinic.
- Healthcare providers can manage their own settings or support staff (with a SK Virtual Visit account) can do so on their behalf.
- There must be a schedule entered for the healthcare provider under the 'Schedule' tab, indicating when they are available to see patients.

Step 3 - Under 'Patient Health Provider Selection', click the 'Allow patients to select another provider at my clinic' box, then select the providers that your patients may book with, besides yourself.

3. New Patients
This feature allows a healthcare provider to set how many new patients they want to accept via this platform. This has a metered-intake approach. Once that number is reached, patients will no longer be able to register as new patients with your clinic.
Step 1 & 2 - Follow 'Step 1 & 2' above.
Step 3 - Under 'New Patients', click either:
- 'Dr ### is not accepting new patients at this time', OR
- 'Dr ### is accepting new patients' and add the number of new patients the doctor wants to accept
Step 4 - If changes have been made, scroll down and click 'Save'.
