These guidelines would help ensure accurate and rapid service while safeguarding the integrity and privacy of all parties' Personal Health Information and Personal Information.
Guidelines to prepare your device:
- Choose a device that you are comfortable with
- Ensure the device is fully charged or plugged in
- Ensure the SK Virtual Visit application has been downloaded, installed, and up to date if you are using a mobile device
- Use the Pre-call Test to make sure audio and video are working properly on your device
- Use a wired internet connection if possible for stable and faster connection
- Do NOT use public Wi-Fi
Guidelines to prepare yourself:
- Ensure you have your health insurance card with you
- You may also need a photo ID if your health insurance card does not have a picture
- Bring any recorded data and/or information about symptoms you wish to share
- Bring any questions you want to ask
Guidelines to prepare your environment:
- Make sure your seat is comfortable
- Consider closing windows in your environment, so that your voice does not carry to your neighbors
- Ensure proper lighting for video
- Choose a private space to ensure others cannot see or hear you
- Try using headphones/earphones to ensure privacy, safety, and clarity
- Eliminate surrounding noise if possible
