If your clinic is adding healthcare provider's shifts to SK Virtual Visit, these may be edited or cancelled. It is, however, recommended that provider's schedules continue to be managed using the clinic's regular EMR system.
Features are accessed under the 'Schedule' tab on the left navigation bar.
If you are the clinic admin and are working with more than one healthcare provider, click the 'Select Schedule' drop-down and choose the provider whose shift you are managing. Healthcare providers will not see this drop-down.
Edit a Shift
Step 1 - Switch from 'Week' view to 'Day' view, then click into the green 'Edit Shift' ribbon.
Step 2 - To Edit the shift, fill in the details requested:
- Click the drop-down to select 'Time' (From + To)
- Click the drop-down to select 'Type of Care' (Virtual, In-Person, or Both)
Step 3 - Select 'Save'.
If you have patient appointments scheduled during that time period, the message will list those patient appointments.
Step 4 - If you wish to continue editing your scheduled shift, click 'Confirm and Save'.
Scheduled patient(s) will be notified that their appointment(s) were cancelled and they need to rebook.
The schedule will be edited.
Cancel a Shift
Step 1 - Switch from 'Week' view to 'Day' view, then click into the green 'Edit Shift' ribbon.
Step 2 - On the 'Edit Shift' screen, click 'Delete Shift'.
Step 3 - Click 'Check Affected Appointments'.
If you have patient appointments scheduled during that time period, the message will list those patient appointments.
Step 4 - If you wish to continue deleting your scheduled shift, click 'Remove All Shift Occurrences'.
Scheduled patient(s) will be notified that their appointment(s) were cancelled and they need to rebook.
The shift will be removed.
