Although follow-up care is best managed through the clinic’s regular EMR system, the platform also includes a feature that supports limited follow-up monitoring.
- This feature applies to patient consultations only, not video meetings.
- The host or their office admin, working on their behalf, may change the status of an 'active' consultation to reflect the necessary follow-up.
- Follow-up consultations are accessed and managed under 'Consults > Waiting for Follow-Up'
Options include:
- Pending Imaging
- Pending Labs
- Referred to Specialist
- Pending Other
Status changes may be made from either the 'Active and Pending' screen, from within the active patient consultation, or on the 'Waiting for Follow-Up' screen.
Additional features on the 'Waiting for Follow-Up' screen include:
- Name - Patient Name
- Last Active - Date and time of last activity in the consultation
- Consultation Created - Date and time of consultation creation
- Status * - Current consultation status or update status as required

- Appointment information (video meeting URL, ID & passcode)
- Schedule - reschedule a follow-up consultation for this patient or, if booked, will change to 'Appointment Booked'
- View Consultation - enter the consultation to review or update

Patient's Features:
After logging into their SK Virtual Visit account, patients can view active consultations under 'Consults > In Progress'.
Once they complete the necessary test(s), they may enter the consultation and click 'I Have Completed My Test'. The status will then change to 'Ready to Review'.
