The 'SK Virtual Visit' platform uses a devices' time zone settings to determine the time that will show up for appointments. If your patient is always seeing a different time for their scheduled appointment, it is very likely that their device's time zone is not set up correctly and is using a system default.
Please have them follow the instructions below to troubleshoot this issue, depending on the type of device they are using.
- Appointment notifications are corrected for the time zone that your patient is in when they log into their account.
- If they have travelled to a different time zone and their device automatically changes to that new time zone, the notification and appointment time will automatically change to reflect the new time zone.
- Times are corrected to the their device time zone when they last logged in, therefore if they haven't logged into their account since returning to their home time zone, their appointment email will still show the time zone they were in when they last logged in.
