If you are speaking on your smartphone with your clinician and they mention they would like to invite you to a video meeting, you may join the video meeting while remaining on the phone call. They will text you a meeting link.
Step 1 - Switch your smartphone to 'Speaker':
Step 2 - Navigate to your text messages and find the message with the video meeting information.
Step 3 - Click the ‘https://…’ video meeting link in the text message.
If you see this screen, choose either:
- Continue on Web, OR
- Tap either Apple App Store or Google Play Store and download the SK Virtual Visit app. Note: This step is not necessary and takes extra time.
Step 4 - Whenever prompted, allow your camera. Note: this prompt may differ depending on what device and browser you are using. Here are a few examples:
Step 5 - Enter your name.
Step 6 - Click Join/Join Meeting.

You will be taken to a screen where you will wait until the meeting host grants you access to the video meeting.
Note: As you are still on the phone call, there may be a delay in arriving in the video.
- Your phone audio will override the video meeting audio.
- If the clinician hangs up the phone call, you will be asked for ‘microphone’ permissions and audio will switch to the video audio.
- If you try to unmute the video meeting microphone either before or after joining the video meeting, you will be prompted, Mic Disabled – To enable your mic, please end your phone call first. You must select I Have Ended My Phone Call or I Am Still On The Phone:
- When the clinician ends the video meeting, remain on the phone.
- Hang up once the phone call is complete.
