There may be two reasons why the email address you are attempting to enter is not being accepted when creating your account:
You have already created a 'SK Virtual Visit' clinical user account using that email address
- 'Clinical users' must be invited to create an account and join approved 'SK Virtual Visit' virtual clinic(s). If working in more than one clinic/facility, an email invitation will be sent for each virtual clinic you wish to join.
- Only one account is needed to access multiple clinics.
To create your account:
Step 1 - Click the 'click this link' hyperlink in the first invitation email and you will be directed to a screen with two options:
Step 2 - Click 'I Don't Have An Account', then enter all information asked to create your account. Use a unique work email address (which may be your SHA or USASK email address).
Step 3 (if invited to more than one virtual clinic) - In each subsequent email, click the 'click this link' hyperlink, then click 'I Have An Account', enter the email address and password you used to create your account.
If you do not know the password or the password does not work:
The email you are entering was accidentally used to create a patient user account
- 'Patient Users' access a platform that is specifically designed for patients. Therefore, clinic users who wish to be seen as a 'patient', must create a separate patient user account, using a unique personal email, not their work email address.
Step 1 - If this is the case, log into your patient account, and change your email to a personal email. See article: Change My Account Email Address
Step 2 - Once you have changed the email address on your patient account, log out of your patient user account.
Step 3 - Return to the invitation email you received to join a virtual clinic as a clinical user and follow the steps in this article: Email Invite - JOIN Your Clinic as a Care Team Member
