Besides virtual (video) patient consultations and virtual quick meetings, a healthcare provider can initiate phone calls using the 'SK Virtual Visit' platform.
When you receive a phone call (which may be indicated by a 1-833# or the healthcare clinic's name), answer the call right away, listen to the message and wait on the line for the healthcare provider to connect.
A phone call may be initiated if:
- The healthcare provider would like a quick phone meeting with you.
- You have low bandwidth or device issues making the video call unsuccessful during the consultation.
- Permissions have not been enabled on your device's camera and microphone. If not enabled previously, the following message will appear when the physician initiates the video call. Enable both and select 'Answer'.
