Virtual care should enhance and complement existing patient treatment plans and protocols by replacing in-person pre-op, post-op and follow-up appointments, when appropriate to do so.
Through a partnership with eHealth Saskatchewan and your healthcare provider, video meetings and virtual consultations will be available through the 'SK Virtual Visit' platform. (Your clinic will decide which of those two methods they will use to meet with you.)
This means you do not have to travel to your doctor's office, but can privately consult with them using:
- Your laptop, computer or tablet on the web at https://virtualvisit.saskatchewan.ca/
OR
- Your personal smartphone or tablet with the 'SK Virtual Visit' app
